Tonight: Have Your Say at the Town Meeting
If you have ever wanted to know what is going on behind the scenes in Bicester, tonight is your chance.
The Annual Town Meeting takes place tonight, Monday 18 May 2026, at 7:00pm in The Chamber Room. It is open to all Bicester electors. Come along, ask questions, and hear what your town council has been up to.
These meetings are a great way to stay in the loop and connect with the people making decisions for our town.
Saturday: A Big Day for Car Lovers
One of the most exciting events of the month is just around the corner.
The Great British Jaguar Day arrives at Bicester Motion on Saturday 23 May 2026, running from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Hosted with Chris Harris and friends, the day features Jaguar car displays, parade laps, live podcast recordings, guest interviews, food, drink, and family-friendly activities.
Whether you are a lifelong car fan or just fancy a great day out, this one is worth the trip.
Community Buzz
The BICESTER WHAT'S ON Facebook group keeps it simple: local events for Bicester and nearby villages only. It is one of the easiest places to spot what is happening close to home. HelloBicester also shares its free weekly newsletter on Facebook, so if you are not already signed up, it takes about ten seconds
Business Beat
Bicester Motion is having a big run of public events this spring. The Great British Jaguar Day on 23 May is followed by Circus Cortex from 18 to 21 June, making it one of the busiest stretches the venue has seen in a while. Good news for local traders and food stalls nearby too.
Council Corner
Bicester Town Council's 2026 events calendar is filling up nicely. The Annual Town Meeting is tonight at 7:00pm, and Sundays in the Park returns on 31 May. If you want to follow what the council is planning for summer, their Facebook page posts regular updates.
